Objectives
- Make appropriate small talk
- Offer and accept hospitality
- Close a first conversation politely
Explanation
Small talk builds trust before serious topics. Safe topics include travel, weather and the client's stay in Costa Rica. Avoid politics or personal finances. Use 'Would you like…?' to offer and 'That would be great, thank you' to accept. To close: 'It was a pleasure meeting you. I'll be in touch.'
